Description
The award-winning novel "Eat the Firebird (Hikuidori wo, Kuu)" by Ko Hara, winner of the Grand Prize at the 40th Yokomizo Seishi Mystery & Horror Awards, is adapted into a live-action film! Koji Mizukami and Mizuki Yamashita star as the Kuki couple, who live in Shinshu and become entangled in supernatural phenomena, while Ryota Miyadate plays the mysterious man Hokuto, an expert in paranormal occurrences. The theme song "Bakemono" by Macaroni Enpitsu powerfully heightens the lingering fear and excitement at the film's climax. - The Kuki couple, living in Shinshu, receive the diary of their ancestor Sadaichi Kuki, who died in battle. Written on the final page are the words "Hikuidori, Kuitai." From that day on, inexplicable incidents begin to occur around the once-happy couple, including damage to gravestones and the disappearance of the grandfather. What shocking truth awaits them as they investigate with the help of paranormal specialist Soichiro Hokuto...? Bonus footage includes a visual commentary (featuring Koji Mizukami, Mizuki Yamashita, and Ryota Miyadate), a making-of collection, event footage, and a trailer collection.
