 Description
[Machine Translation] Horrific private executions over the secret of the Golden Buddha! A sharp scalpel is applied to a town of violence that devours nightmares! Early Showa era. The Sugawara family, which has a stronghold in the suburbs of Tokyo, is in the midst of a hectic time before the annual Kanegenji festival. Seikichi, a young man, is not given any decent work because his older brother is jealous of him, and his love interest, Okayo, is urging him to elope and become a hardened samurai. Then the festival begins. Seikichi is offered by his older brothers, Hizakura and Umewaka, that he and Okayo will become man and wife on the condition that he steals the golden Buddha to be unveiled at the festival. However, he is betrayed by the two and hunted by the Sugawara family. Seikichi chooses prison as a place to escape the sanctions. Seikichi served his three-year sentence with the location of the Golden Buddha hidden from the public. He was attacked by Umewaka and his gang, who were waiting for him. Immediately after his release, Seikichi was sentenced to 18 years in prison, this time for murder. After the war, Okayo raised Kuwako, the daughter born to Kiyokichi, and waited for Kiyokichi's release. This is the first DVD release of the film.
