Description
This singer-songwriter, Saki Kubota, made a meteoric debut in 1979 with her single "Ihojin," which became a million-seller with over 1.4 million copies sold. She quickly rose to fame and, before retiring in 1984, released nine singles and seven original albums. This analog record collection includes 12 of her most iconic songs, including "Ihojin," the commercial song "Orange Air Mail Special," the city pop favorite "Campus-gai '81," the Fado-inspired "Alfama no Musume" recorded in Portugal, and the fan-favorite "Saishubin." It also features the single version of "Yoru no Soko wa Yawaraka na Maboroshi," the title track from her self-produced final album. This special release comes in a clear red (transparent red) vinyl edition, cut by renowned Japanese engineer Katsutoshi Kitamura, with a picture label specification.
