Lettuce, a super band in the jazz-funk scene, was formed by Eric Krasnow, guitarist of Soulive (now retired), Adam Deitch (Dr.), Sam Kinninger (As), and other greats in the scene. From their second album "Rage!", one of their most popular albums, comes a 7" cover of Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up" and Charles Wright & Watts' 103rd Street Rhythm Band's "Express Yourself". Both covers are faithfully reproduced with respect to the originals, but with a more powerful and groovy finish due to the band's superior ability.
