 Description
[Machine Translation] The second feature film by Leon & Cocinha, the genius duo behind "House of Wolves," is finally being released on Blu-ray! The second feature film by Chilean artist duo Leon & Cocinha, who took on the challenge of making a live-action film on the heels of "House of Wolves," which took five years to make, was unveiled at the Directors' Fortnight at the 2024 Cannes International Film Festival and subsequently made a splash at various film festivals. Live action, shadow puppets, animation, puppets, video games, 16mm film... you never know what will pop out from start to finish in this "dark pot" film. Once again, the motif is Chile's contemporary history and the shadow of Nazi Germany that still lies there... "Hyperboreans" is harder than "House of Wolves" and more interesting than "House of Wolves"! --Antonia Giesen, actress and clinical psychologist, is visited by a patient suffering from mysterious auditory hallucinations. When she tells her friends Leon and Cocinha, a film director, they realize that the auditory hallucinations are the words of Miguel Serrano, a Chilean diplomat, poet, and follower of Hitler, and propose to make a film starring Antonia based on them.
