Description
A brand-new yet classic police drama set at the SSBC (Special Support and Analysis Center), the key player in modern investigations, starring Nao Omori, Masaki Aiba, and Nao Matsushita in a luxurious triple leading role. An original script by hitmaker Yasushi Fukuda builds an unwavering worldview. Nao Omori plays Shuji Igaki, a former First Investigation Division detective and the current head of Mobile Analysis at SSBC. Masaki Aiba portrays Rintaro Nanami, a career-track transferee whose uncle is the Chief Cabinet Secretary. Nao Matsushita plays Haruka Aoyagi, a First Investigation Division section chief, who is in fact Igaki's ex-wife, divorced four years ago. The Metropolitan Police Department Special Support and Analysis Center, known as SSBC, supports investigations through surveillance camera analysis, smartphone and computer data analysis, and suspect profiling. The newly established SSBC Violent Crimes Unit handles heinous crimes such as murder, robbery, and arson, and previously made significant contributions to the arrest of the perpetrator in the Shunsuke Kuze (Koichi Sato) shooting incident. The unit includes Shuji Igaki (Nao Omori) of Mobile Analysis, Satoshi Kizawa (Atsushi Ito) of Information Analysis, Sayaka Mitsumoto (Rika Adachi) of Technical Support, Rumi Nishina (Rei Maruyama) of Information Support, as well as Katsuya Oyamada (Yuya Takaki) and Shinnosuke Jo (Kota Nomura) of Mobile Analysis, and one day Rintaro Nanami (Masaki Aiba), a former foreign securities firm fund manager who passed the National Civil Service Career Recruitment Examination, is assigned to the team. It includes all nine episodes. A four-disc set (three main discs plus one bonus disc). Bonus footage includes making-of scenes, a pre-broadcast special (aired July 5, 2025), a press roundtable, the program event Summer Grand Thanksgiving Festival, and PR spot collections. It comes with an original booklet.
